[Update]: THQ Comments On Recent Layoff Rumor

: THQ has responded to a recent rumor that it has laid off staff in its Australia office, as well as there being trouble in Japan.

A THQ representative told us that the layoffs in Australia are related to the staff moves that the company outlined last week. Furthermore, the Japan office will not be closing, as there will still be staff at the Japanese location, and the Australia office will still handle THQ's business relationships in the region.
